What it is

The quiz is the one event that makes the hall go quiet. Teams come up, questions are read out, and everybody else stops walking to watch, which is why it draws the biggest crowd of the two days, and why a seat is worth turning up early for.

Questions range across the curriculum and well past it. Nothing is specialist enough to need a syllabus: the team that does well is usually the one that reads widely, not the one that revised for this.

Times, rounds and anything that has a price on it are set per edition. When the 2026 line-up is fixed it goes up on the EduExpo page first.
